Studio Y2 – Architecture and Planning
Studio Y2 was set up in 2012 and provides a comprehensive design, town planning and development consultancy service. Our aim is to bring forward bespoke high quality sustainable development and people friendly places and projects at all scales.
We are experienced at all stages of the development process, from initial feasibility and capacity studies through to the co-ordination of planning applications and the implementation of schemes on site.
The practice is run by Nigel Young Dip Arch, RIBA, and Frances Young BSc(Hons) MPhil MA(UD) MRTPI CIHCM
Both Frances and Nigel are committed to providing high quality advice and successful outcomes for their clients and together provide an integrated service in the following areas:
• Architecture • Planning • Heritage • Master-planning • Project Management
Both partners have over 30 years’ experience and a wealth of expertise in the built environment.
We are based in North London and work across London and the South.

Nigel is the founding partner of Studio Y2 Partnership, with over 30 years of experience working in the built environment. He leads the Architectural and Urban Design side of the practice.

Frances Young

Frances manages Studio Y2 Planning (SY2 Planning). She has over 30 years of planning, heritage, regeneration and development experience in both the private and public sectors.
